IND vs BAN 2nd Test: Bangladesh ended their innings on October 1 with 146 all out, leaving India needing only 95 runs to win the series. During the series, India set remarkable records for the fastest 50, 100, 150, and 200 runs in Test cricket.
Paceman Jasprit Bumrah, spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin shined at the match today as each of them took three wickets. Jadeja (3/34), Jasprit Bumrah (3/17) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3/50) shared nine wickets among themselves, while Akash Deep (1/20) accounted for one batter.
In their innings, opener Shadman Islam stood out as the only player to reach a half-century, contributing significantly to the team’s total. However, Pacer Akash Deep then had Shadman caught in the slips. Once Shadman was dismissed, Bangladesh batting fell apart.
 
Additionally, Bangladesh’s Rahim added 37 runs to the scoreboard. Apart from them, none of the players made a significant impact in the game. Hasan Mahmud was dismissed at 4 while Mominul Haque was dismissed at 2.

Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 19, Liton Das was out on 1, Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 9 while Khaled Ahmed scored 5 runs. Players including Shakib Al Hasan, Taijul Islam were dismissed at 0. The last wicket of the third innings went at the score of 146 as Bumrah dismissed Mushfiqur after scoring 37 runs in his innings.
